Recycling through pyrolysis – an overview
Resource-saving and environmentally friendly: our kiln technology makes raw materials recyclable
The pyrolysis process is being used in more and more resource-saving and environmentally friendly recycling processes, e.g. in the production of anode material for electromobility, the production of recovered carbon black (rCB) and the recycling of spent batteries or plastic waste. In this context, the saving of CO2 emissions plays an increasingly important role, especially for organic raw materials. Pure disposal is being replaced by the recovery of a recyclable raw material with a green footprint.
Pyrolysis – an alternative that pays off twice
In contrast to mere disposal, pyrolysis technology has two advantages: it is not only an ecological alternative, but also an economic one. This is because raw material prices continue to rise. In addition, the pyrolysis trend is likely to continue as a result of the German Bundestag's decision to amend the Recycling Management Act. The public's increased environmental awareness is also making companies increasingly responsible for their ecological footprint.
We are your partner for pyrolysis processes
As with most products and new production processes that cross this threshold, the new role leads to stricter requirements for recovered carbon black (rCB) quality, plant throughput and security of supply. In terms of plant capital expenditure, this leads to a shift towards higher capital expenditure (CapEx) and lower operating expenditure (OpEx).
This means that reliable partners and suppliers are needed for modern production plants. As a technology leader and experienced industrial furnace manufacturer, we are therefore at your side with our expertise from numerous successfully completed pyrolysis projects.
