Division into two independent companies
Adolf Ruhstrat (a son of the company founder Ernst Ruhstrat) took over the plant at the Leinekanal (Goetheallee) and concentrated on the execution of electrical installations, lightning protection, industrial wiring and on the production of switchgears and power supply systems. In 1969 Andrea Ruhstrat took over the management of the company Adolf Ruhstrat.
