Long-term tests in our Test Center

News from our Test Center in Bovenden: We have just finished conducting long-term tests over the course of the last two weeks – 24 hours a day. We carried out pyrolysis tests with different powder mixtures.

The powder was put into saggers, which were then transported through the multi-functional furnace under a nitrogen atmosphere. The "cake" produced by the pyrolysis was crushed back into powder using a crusher. The goal: a graphite-silicon mixture that can be used as anode material.

In our Test Center, we have the possibility to carry out such tests for customers. Thanks to testing on a smaller scale, customers can ensure the quality of their products before the process is scaled up in the next step and we build the appropriate plant for industrial production here at ONEJOON.
