Industrial furnace construction—a forward-looking industry that leaves no one indifferent. After all, heat treatment is a critical requirement for numerous products, such as carbon fibers, electric vehicle batteries, and (razor) blades. ONEJOON develops the furnace and process technology needed for these applications. Over 125 years of experience in industrial furnace construction, precise engineering and design work, and the spirit of a down-to-earth plant manufacturer set us apart. As a global technology leader, we are represented at 10 locations in 6 countries worldwide. The #onejoonfamily comprises nearly 400 employees worldwide, 200 of whom are based at two locations in Germany, where they perform a wide range of tasks in a dynamic and forward-looking environment.
What does that mean exactly?
Do you want to do more than just look at data—do you want to understand how industrial systems really work? Here, you’ll lay the groundwork for turning raw data into real insights.
Your responsibilities
- Development of a structured data model
- Definition of data standards and naming conventions
- Implementation of data quality checks
- Creation of initial evaluations and analyses
- Implementation of specific use cases
- Documentation of data logic
What you need to bring
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics (with a practical focus), or a related field
- Experience with Python, Pandas, notebooks, or similar tools
- Structured way of thinking
- Important: You can work independently and make decisions—there is no “set path” yet
