(Key) Account Manager (m/f/d) for our Special Equipment/High-Performance Ceramics Division

We want to grow and are looking for reinforcement for our teams in Bovenden and Böblingen!

With wealth of ideas and passion, our employees develop and build thermal plants according to individual customer requirements. 

As a medium-sized technology company founded in Göttingen with the German locations Bovenden and Böblingen, we offer a wide range of tasks in a dynamic environment.

What does that mean for you?

Many exciting and challenging tasks, because as a (Key) Account Manager you will be responsible for the operational handling of our entire sales activities for the above-mentioned business area:

  • acquisition of new customers as well as maintenance and further development of our existing customer relationships.
  • coordination and authoritative project planning of technical solutions according to customer requests together with internal specialists
  • responsibility, preparation and coordination of quotations (e.g. compliance with specifications, compilation of technical elaboration, assessment of business issues)
  • creating negotiation strategies and leading negotiations
  • analyzing the competitive situation, picking up market trends and processing the related information
  • acting as a cross-functional contact person (interface function) for the customer for all relationship management issues
  • documenting sales activities and ensuring project transitions to processing internally

You are a good fit for us if you

  • have successfully completed a technical degree (mechanical engineering, automation technology or comparable)
  • have at least 3-5 years of professional experience
  • have market knowledge in the field of (technical) ceramics and / or heavy clay ceramics
  • have experience in market analysis as well as common marketing and sales tools
  • motivate rather than discourage travel within and (outside) Europe
  • are in possession of a class B driver's license    
  • have a business fluent command of written and spoken English
  • another foreign language is an advantage
