Conveyor technician or engineer (m/f/d) for project planning and supervision of the handling of conveyor components in our Advanced Materials division

What does that mean for you?

Many exciting and challenging tasks with an international context:

• Elaboration, definition and safeguarding of conveyor concepts for plants in concept and basic engineering
• Technical consulting and support of the sales department in conceptual design, calculation and preparation of quotations for materials handling components
• Defining the material handling function of a system and the operating equipment required for implementation
• Conduct risk analyses for the conveyor function and design and determine functional safety
• Creation of layout drawings, equipment lists, functional descriptions, operating instructions and commissioning instructions
• Design, calculation and construction of the conveyor components
• Preparation of tenders and coordination of processing for purchased components
• Creation of standard calculation tools and standard documents for recurring installations and products
• Assist with the commissioning of equipment
• Further development of conveyor systems

You are a good fit for us if you

• ​​​​​​have successfully completed a technical degree (mechanical engineering, automation technology or comparable),
• bring along first work experience,
• have experience in the design of conveyor systems,
• have good technical knowledge in the areas of drive technology, strength of materials / statics, design theory, application of sensor technology as well as basic knowledge of relevant standards and safety regulations,
• motivate rather than discourage domestic and (extra-)European travel (to the extent of approx. 5% national/international/well-planned), and
• are in possession of a class B driver's license.

• Strong negotiation and organizational skills,
• a confident handling (good user skills) with Solid Works or Siemens NX and Winchill (PLM) as well as with MS Office products,
• a good command of written and spoken English and
