Who we are:

ONEJOON GmbH is a medium-sized company in special plant construction with German locations in Bovenden (near Göttingen) and Böblingen (near Stuttgart). The company has a tradition of more than 125 years in the construction of highly flexible and technologically sophisticated industrial furnaces in a wide variety of industries. ONEJOON GmbH currently employs approx. 230 people at its locations in Germany. 

We are the technology and market leader for oxidation and carbonization furnaces in the core market of carbon fiber production. The company occupies a prominent position in the fast-growing markets of cathode and anode material production for lithium-ion batteries. Other applications for Onejoon's equipment include blade and band saw hardening, sintering of metals and ceramics, heat treatment of aluminum wheels, and special applications involving novel materials (e.g. in powder chemistry and fuel cells). In addition to customized furnace technology, we also supply the appropriate automation and integration of process and material flow.

Since January 2020, we have belonged to the ONEJOON Group as ONEJOON GmbH with subsidiaries and associated companies in the USA, Poland and China as an associated company. ONEJOON Co Ltd. as parent company is a Korean plant engineering company with headquarters in Suwon (near Seoul), whose main market is the production of high-temperature furnace systems including associated conveyor and process technology for processing cathode and anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.

What does that mean for you?

Many exciting and challenging tasks with an international context:

In this position, you will be responsible for the commercial areas of finance and accounting, controlling and human resources, reporting directly to the management in both technical and disciplinary terms. You will work together with the management team to implement the strategic challenges and operational projects of our company. You will plan and control the growth and further development of employees and the organization for your areas. This means for you in detail:

  • You will be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB, financing, treasury and international tax issues.
  • You will prepare corporate planning and forecasts
  • You will be responsible for the investment controlling of the foreign subsidiaries and associated companies
  • You are the main contact for auditors, tax consultants, banks and lawyers
  • You have an overview of risk management as well as our contract and insurance business
  • You are responsible for the development and implementation of the HR strategy
  • You will support and advise employees as well as managers and the executive board on HR-related topics
  • You are responsible for carrying out the complete monthly payroll accounting process
  • You are the contact person for the works council
  • You develop personnel cost planning and ensure continuous personnel reporting and controlling
  • You are responsible for planning and organizing personnel development measures
  • You initiate and design improvement processes in the personnel area
  • You will provide your employees with professional and disciplinary leadership, and you will also develop and coach your team

You are a good fit for us if you

  • have a university degree in economics or business administration (preferably with a focus on controlling/finance/accounting and/or human resources)
  • have several years of professional experience and at least 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing medium-sized company with international sales activities (preferably professional experience as a commercial manager (m/f/d) or a comparable position)
  • have expertise and practical experience in an ERP system (preferably SAP), in balance sheet and P&L topics, liquidity planning, international tax topics as well as financing
  • possess a very high level of entrepreneurial thinking and analytical skills
  • have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • prefer a structured, goal- and solution-oriented way of working
  • can actively use very good English skills and are confident in the use of MS Office products           
  • and finally, a certain degree of willingness to travel internationally (in accordance with the international orientation of the tasks)
