Heat treatment is an important prerequisite for numerous products, e.g., carbon fibers, electric car batteries, or (razor) blades. ONEJOON develops the necessary furnace and process technology. What does that mean exactly?

• You lay out components made of technical ceramics and high-temperature materials and specify them technically.
• You select suitable materials, taking into account temperature resistance, thermal shock, wear, corrosion, and service life.
• You support the design department in creating a material-appropriate design (DfM/DfC).
• You evaluate manufacturing and joining processes such as pressing, extrusion, sintering, or coating.
• You participate in design, material, and approval reviews as well as in testing and qualification processes.
• You analyze damage cases and deviations and derive appropriate measures.
• You accompany prototypes, tests, and commissioning from a technical perspective.
• You support quotation and concept phases with regard to feasibility, material risks, and technical evaluation.
• You work closely with suppliers, research partners, and testing institutes.
• You ensure compliance with relevant norms and internal standards.

We are a good match if you

• have successfully completed a degree in materials engineering, ceramics, materials science, process engineering, or a comparable qualification,
• alternatively, have technical training with relevant further education and practical experience,
• have in-depth knowledge of technical ceramics and high-temperature materials,
• are able to confidently assess thermomechanical stresses and material behavior,
• have experience in dealing with technical specifications, drawings, and standards,
• are confident in working with MS Office and have a basic understanding of CAD (reading and evaluating technical drawings),
• ideally have experience with technical databases or PLM systems,
• and are able to express yourself confidently in German and technically confidently in English.

And if you

• have a high level of technical responsibility and commitment,
• work in an analytical and structured manner,
• show initiative and a solution-oriented approach,
• are willing to learn and develop,
• can communicate clearly and objectively,
• are a strong communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills,
• can convey technical issues in an understandable way,
• approach problem and damage analysis systematically,
• have strong organizational and prioritization skills,
• and naturally adhere to deadlines and quality standards,
