What does that mean for you?
The aim of the thesis is to model a pyrolysis process in a rotary kiln by 3-D printing. The main components are the product feed, rotary kiln, cooling drum, afterburner chamber and connecting piping. The models are transferred into a format that is commonly used for 3-D printing.
The thesis can be roughly divided into 3 areas:
- Concept phase: modeling in CAD
- Implementation phase: Creating models on the 3-D printer
- Model construction: Assembling individual models to create an overall model
*Conceptualization of the process can also be worked on separately from the thesis as part of an employment as a working student (m/f/d).
