Represented in 5 countries with 10 locations worldwide and more than 125 years of expertise in industrial furnace construction, ONEJOON as a medium-sized technology company – with 260 employees in Germany – offers a wide range of tasks in a dynamic and future-oriented environment. We would be happy to explain to you in person what furnace construction has to do with fuel cell technology and e-mobility.

What does that mean for you?

The aim of the thesis is to define a process in which organic material (straw, wood pellets, used tires, ...) is activated under pyrolytic conditions by the addition of steam and synthesis gas is produced.

The thesis is divided into the following three parts:

1. Concept phase
2. Implementation phase
3. Validation / experimental phase

*Conceptualization of the process can also be worked on separately from the thesis as part of an employment as a working student (m/f/d).

You are a good fit for us if you:

• Are a student (m/f/d) of process engineering, mechanical engineering or related courses of study,
• Have very good knowledge in the field of thermodynamics with focus on heat transfer and high temperature technology,
• Have good knowledge in the field of design (methodology and implementation in CAD) and
• Have good MS-Office skills.

What else do we value:

• good communication skills, a high capacity for teamwork but also high resilience, flexibility and willingness to learn
• Organizational skills and goal-oriented, structured way of working
• previous knowledge in the field of 3D printing is desirable but not mandatory
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
