Account Manager (m/f/d) for Battery Materials

As Account Manager (m/f/d) for Battery Materials, you will ensure active sales for a variety of diverse and highly complex customer inquiries at the Bovenden site.

What does that mean for you?

  • Acquisition of new customers and markets and further development of existing customer relationships
  • Acquiring, recording and clarifying customer inquiries
  • Development of a technical solution according to customer inquiry
  • Preparation of quotations (process diagram/conveyor technology, layout, calculation, quotation text, warranties) or, if necessary, reviewing and releasing the quotations from project planning
  • Creating and holding customer presentations
  • Supporting and leading order negotiations
  • Discussing commercial contract terms with the customer with support from the legal department
  • Record and maintain sales activities in internal database systems CRM/SAP and ensure project handovers according to QG1
  • Analyzing the competitive situation
  • Taking technical suggestions or innovations from the market and forwarding them to product management
  • Depending on the position further activities will be added.

You are a good fit for us if you:

  • have completed a business or technical degree.
  • already have 3+ years of professional experience as an account manager and have gained in-depth knowledge in the field of plant and process engineering.
  • are familiar with common marketing and sales tools and can shine with your presentation techniques based on solid calculations.
  • have a basic knowledge of contracts.

  • An above-average level of commitment, organizational skills and a goal-oriented, structured approach to work
