还原

还原和氧化可以通过相对电子变化或起始材料氧化态的变化来定义。在还原过程中,电子被添加到起始材料中,这降低了氧化态,即接受未结合电子的“意愿”。由于电子的数量是由电子守恒决定的,因此氧化和还原(氧化还原反应)总是同时发生。因此,还原需要还原剂,还原剂本身会发生氧化。在回转窑中,还原过程通常在氢气(H2)气氛中进行。
